SHIPPING POLICY

For orders placed by 12.00 midday on Thursdays, every effort will be made to send your parcel out that same weekend. For orders placed after this weekly deadline, your parcel will be dispatched at the end of the following week.

 

In the event I am away on holiday, I will let you know of any delays as necessary.

 

Unfortunately we cannot offer collection in person. All orders will be sent out via Royal Mail Second Class (signed for, with proof of postage and a tracking number).

Please note the following will apply for overseas orders:

  • Postage rates are for "up to 1kg" or "up to 2kg" parcel weights

  • Postage does not include customs taxes or import duties on entry into your country.

  • Any additional taxes are payable by you the purchaser when the parcel arrives at your Customs and Excise Authorities. They will contact you before releasing your parcel so you can settle up with them for any additional taxes due.

  • Parcels will be sent via Royal Mail, "tracked and signed for" and take approximately 7 - 10 working days until delivery (but may be held up in customs depending on how fast your country processes incoming parcels from the UK).

  • I will complete customs forms for all parcels sent for "goods purchased" and to the total value of the contents of the parcel.

  • As standard, the postage includes an additional £2.50 which covers contents insurance for up to £250 per parcel

  • Please note I will only send parcels up to 2kg in total weight to EU countries.

  • When paying me using credit cards or the PayPal option, please would you pay me in English Pounds (£) . Thank you.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Please use the "contact form" if you have any queries on your order when received.

I have provided information on the size and approximate dimensions of each bowl as part of the listing. Please check your order carefully as mistakes are easily made.

Several of the bowls are the same shape, but different sizes, so they look similar in the photos as a result. Make sure the ones you have chosen will fit comfortably inside your kiln chamber and that they are the gauge you require. Thank you.

If you want to return any bowls (because you have ordered the wrong sizes) the postage to return them to us will be at your own cost. This will not be refundable.

 

If you wish to return an item, you will need contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel, to let us know you wish to return it. The item(s) must then be returned to us in the original condition with the original packaging within the next 7 days (We would recommend you send the parcel "recorded delivery" and "signed for" as we cannot be responsible to replace or refund items lost or damaged in the Post on their way back to us.) On receipt of your items we will issue a credit note or replacement bowl depending on what we have available in stock at the time. 

 

If you receive your item and it is damaged please contact us within 7 days (by email or using the contact form) providing us with photographs of the packaging as it arrived and showing the condition of the damaged item. Please return these damaged items within a further 7 days. On receipt, you will receive a refund for the postage to return the item and an exchange depending on what we have available in stock or a credit note.

As indicated in the listing information, surface lines from the spinning process may occur on some bowls, and this is part of the process. These are not sold as highly polished copper bowls. Please bear this in mind when purchasing. Thank you.
